The University of Georgia released an announcement at 1:12 p.m. today that stated they will make a decision later this afternoon on whether the university will reopen on a regular schedule or delay opening for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 13.
The announcement said UGA is still determining and assessing storm damage that occurred on the facilities and grounds. Because there are still a number of power outages around Athens, the university said it is particularly concerned about "roadways and traffic signals at intersections in and around the campus community."
