"So we've got employers including the Hyatt, H&R Block, Hitachi Manufacturing," said Kida. "There's going to be a bunch of folks coming out ready to hire job seekers, so we're really hoping to see a large crowd."

Attendees are encouraged to register before the event by creating a profile on careerconnector.org.

“But also make sure that you bring several copies of your resume and that you dress professionally," said Kida. "All of those things are going to matter a lot to employers considering their next hire."

Kida says People needing help with resumes before the event can visit the career center on Lexington Road for assistance.

“Goodwill of North Georgia is really well known for our stores and donation centers. But one part that folks don't know as much about is our mission. Our mission is to put people to work. And we've got 13 local career centers that allow us to do just that. There's one right there on Lexington Road by the Piggly Wiggly. Folks can come in, it's free of charge. They can come in and get help with finding their next job, working on their resume or even interviewing," said Kida.

The career fair is from 10 am until 1 pm at the mall on Valentine’s Day.
