New Employees Wanted at Braselton Hospital

16 July 2014

Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton is planning on filling 500-600 positions in order to have a full staff when the new hospital opens next spring. The recruitment process of hiring employees will come in phases.

Important positions have been filled, but the hiring process will still continue until it approaches opening day. The positions available are within clinical and support areas, and environmental and nutritional services. The vacant areas that will be filled doesn’t include physicians. According to the Human Resources Manager, Robin Daniel, “clinical positions are among those that require the longest lead time.” The hospital is ensuring that all employees have enough time to be trained and feel comfortable using the technology and equipment. Regarding workers that have worked in a hospital previously, Daniel says, “we want them to learn the methodologies that we use, so they may be coming on board now.” Administrators will be planning and executing scenarios that employees will participate in before patients enter the doors.
