Fraternity House Damaged in Burglary by UGA Student

ATHENS - A University of Georgia student has been charged with burglarizing and damaging a fraternity house over the weekend.

James Dylan Roll, of Kennesaw, is alleged to have illegally entered the Tau Epsilon Phi fraternity house, spray painted the walls, and dislodged a fire extinguisher.

The arrest occurred early Sunday morning after the damage was reported by fraternity members. Officers found Roll in the area with paint on his hands and clothing, according to police.

The official charges include first-degree burglary, felony criminal damage to property, underage consumption of alcohol and possession of false identification.

Roll has had previous run-ins with the law in both Athens and Kennesaw, according to published reports.
