Jack Logan and Patterson Hood
Each episode of Songsmiths features a different host especially
conversant with the guest's body of work: acclaimed songwriter
Jack Logan, for example hosted the charismatic Patterson Hood,
whom critics are comparing to Bruce Sprinsteen. Scott Freeman
(senior editor of Atlanta Magazine—who has also written
several well-regarded books on the Allman Brothers and Otis
Redding) interviewed Randall Bramblett, who has toured with
Steve Windwood, Widespread Panic, and many others astonished
by his talent.
