Submissions Being Accepted for Third Annual Cause + Effect Progressive Film Festival

Georgia filmmakers are urged to submit their work to a statewide film festival.

The third annual Cause and Effect Progressive Film Festival is now accepting submissions. While film makers of all ages are invited to take part, the contest is limited to state filmmakers who tackle a critical issue. Brandon Hannick is the festival’s director.

“We ask filmmakers, Georgia filmmakers only, to explore a political, environmental, economic, or social justice issues,” Hannick said. “This can be something in your community, in your neighborhood, if can be a national issue as long as it has some impact in Georgia or a community in Georgia.

Submissions are accepted until October 15th.

Entries can be submitted for free at www.causeandeffectfilm.org. The festival will be held at Cine in November.
