Oconee Wreck Closes Intersection

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is warning drivers of a serious accident involving an overturned dump truck. According to an alert issued by the department, the intersection of 53 and 78 is closed due to that wreck which also involves someone trapped inside a vehicle and a fire on the scene. The road is blocked on highway 53. Motorists should  use caution in the area.
