Free Legal Assistance at Access to Justice Pop-Up Clinic

Area residents in need of legal assistance can attend the third Access to Justice Pop-Up Clinic Saturday. Superior Court Judge Regina Quick will hold the event from 9 am until 11 am at the Athens Regional library.

The mission of the Access to Justice Initiative is to provide access to legal services and information for individuals in need of legal assistance who live in the community.

Attorneys provide brief individual consultations on topics including family law such as divorce and child support, adoption law, probate law, employment law, criminal law, and landlord-tenant law at the Pop-Up Clinics.

A list of legal service/attorney resources will be provided for individuals who may wish to seek further assistance beyond the Pop-Up Clinic.

For more information about the Access to Justice Pop-up Clinics, contact Judge Quick’s office at 706-310-3606 or the Athens-Clarke County Court Administrator's Office at 706-613-3161.
