Friday is the deadline to apply for those interested in serving on four policy-making boards in Clarke County. The ACC Government needs qualified candidates to serve on the Athens Downtown Development Authority, Department of Family and Children services, Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases Advisory Council, and the Vision Committee. Applicants must be Athens-Clarke County residents and eligible to vote in Clarke County, some positions may requite additional qualifications.
