Athens-Clarke County Police Investigating Home Invasion and Robbery

The ACCPD is investigating a home invasion robbery on Cleveland Road. According to a media release from Public Information Officer, Epifanio Rodriquez, police arrived at the home just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. 

 

The victims told officers three men kicked in the rear door and held them at gunpoint. One of the victims said she was in the kitchen about the go out the back door when the glass door was broken, then she saw a hand come through the broken window and unlock the door. She said three men came in and one put a gun in her face and told her to “shut up.”

 

He then forced her to the floor. While on the floor the victim stated one of the suspects placed a gun on her neck., The suspects then searched the house. All three were armed with revolvers and wore gloves. There were no shots fired and not one was injured, but the suspects did steal cash and property.
