Members of the Athens community are invited to public meeting tonight for the Comprehensive Plan.
The Steering Committee for 2018 Comprehensive Plan is meeting to review public input that has been received through a variety of ways, including public engagement sessions, public presentations, paper surveys and online surveys. While members of the community are invited to attend, no comments will be taken during their session. The state requires communities to update their plans every 10 years. The meeting is 5:30 to 7:30 this evening in the Planning Department Auditorium on Dougherty Street.
