The Athens-Clarke County Library is inviting members of the community to celebrate the holiday season by sharing messages with local nursing home residents.
Now through December 20th, residents can stop by the Library’s Teen Services department to fill out holiday greeting cards for seniors at Pruitt Healthcare in Athens and High Shoals Health and Rehabilitation in North High Shoals.
Library staff are aiming to have at least 200 cards created so that all residents receive a card. People of all ages are invited to stop by and personalize a card as part of the project.
